God Is Great

God is Great

God shows himself and his greatness in many ways. There is no one definite way that is evident all the time. He shows himself differently depending on the person and the situation. You must be open and aware to clearly witness his great power.

For the faithful, God is great all the time. His presence is continuous. The faithful know that no matter what they are going through in their life, they are never alone. On the most loneliest day, you can reach for him and he will appear within you to let you know he is there with you. You are never truly alone, ever, because God is always by your side.
In times of trouble, oftentimes we need a moment of peace to relieve the tension and stress of the problem. If you believe, you can ask God for peace and within seconds the peace you seek will wash over you. As far fetched as that may sound to some, it really is that simple. Ask him for what you need and believe that you will receive it and watch the blessings shower you.
The greatest evidence of miracles is when what seems to be impossible or difficult to explain occurs. The moment a person receives a terminal diagnosis, but through prayer miraculously regains their health is God’s greatness. A kid falls in a hole and is not found for days. The child should be dead, but somehow survives and lives to tell the tale is living proof of his greatness. When a major car accident occurs, everyone in the accident should be dead, but somehow everyone walks away without a scratch. That is God’s work.
A house door is left open and a toddler walks out the door and takes a stroll towards a busy street via the middle of the street. Cars swerve around the child until they all come to a stop. The child survives without a scratch and no one else gets hurt. This is a miracle.
God is here for us no matter what we do. He never deserts us even when we sometimes deserve to be left alone. We are not always the most faithful or the most worthy, but his love for us appears through every miracle and blessing he performs to remind us how much he truly loves each and every one of us. This is why God is great. He is great because he loves us unconditionally and is completely devoted to the love he feels for us. He lifts us up when we fall and carries us when we are too tired to walk. He is the one true constant in all of our lives.

God’s Love For Humanity

It is clear that many people find it difficult to understand God’s love. It is not only the current generations but even long ago when the Israelites were into slavery; they did not understand that God’s love was always with them. God’s blessing will always follow those who believe in Him. God’s love towards man was not portrayed when He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to come redeem us from all our sins. God’s love immediately began when He created man. It is evident from the book of Genesis which tells us that man was created in the likeness and image of God. All other things came to be through the Word of God but were never created as man was.

This shows that man was and still is special to God and Him love will never end. To understand His love for us, God says that when you call Him, He will answer. This is a very strong affirmation. He does not say that when you call Him he will think about it or when you call Him he will put you in waiting list; He confirms that He will always be there for us always. God’s love has no limitations and He always keeps His promises. If at all you think that He is not answering your call, always remember that God is with you and He does what is best for you. He will never forsake you even in the darkest time of your life.

If you have a close friend whom you trust and you can always rely on you feel secure and comfortable when you are together. God is always with you; whether you are asleep during the night, when you are with your friend or when you are alone and scared feeling like nobody cares. God’s love will always be with you and He will protect you from all your worries. Psalms 23:4 says , “Even though I walk through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid for You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me.” It is such a wonderful feeling when you know that God will never leave you alone and that He will always protect you.

When people understand this love from God, it will become easy to love and care about one another. To love your neighbor is the greatest commandment of them all just like it is stated in Mark 12:31. Loving your neighbor does not mean that you have to give them something but rather, you can show your love through expression and appreciating your neighbor’s success that will cost you nothing. Many are the times when even your close friends will turn against you when you are down or feel jealous of your achievements but God’s blessing and love will always be with you no matter the situation that you are in.

No matter what sins you commit; God will always forgive you all of them when you confess and seek His forgiveness. People do things that they think they are too huge for forgiveness but God’s love for us will always be and He can never forsake us. Whether you steal, kill, lie or even believe in other gods, the truth is, all those sins have the same magnitude before God. The important thing you need to always keep in mind is that, there is no sin that God cannot forgive. God will always love and forgive all your sins when you confess and promise to live according to His ways.

God’s blessing is not limited to your past life before you confessed your sins and followed the righteous path. God knows every little good thing you did years ago and even the big mistakes you may have done in your life, but, God’s love will always be with you. It is wise to seek first the word of God. Pray for forgiveness and strength to overcome temptations that may come your way. It is not easy to be righteous and doing everything as it is supposed to be done but you should always seek guidance and protection from God. Be faithful to God and He will always be there for you when you need Him. The love of God to humanity is eternal.
